Made entirely of plastic and contains no metal components. It is attached to the body with two plastic hinges.
It separates biological waste into two sections:
Liquids drain to the bottom, while solid waste remains in the upper section.
The grate is hinged on a shaft located at the rear, allowing it to be lifted into a vertical position, which:
- Facilitates waste collection
- Allows the bottom of the bin to be washed
